Jane has over two years of
experiences as a GIS technician.
Before joining the World
Agroforestry Centre, Jane had
worked with Geomaps survey and
mapping as a GIS technician. Has
also worked with landscape land
surveyors as a cartographer for
five years.
Jane obtained her diploma in GIS
at International Institute for
Geo-information science and
Earth Observation (ITC) in
Netherlands, and her Diploma in
Cartography at Kenya
Polytechnic.
Jane is working on the Southwest
Uganda database , Socio
Economic Atlas of Lake victoria Basin
and Lake
Victoria project database.
Research interest:
Application of GIS in database
management, digital mapping and
landscaping in natural resources
conservation
