Dr Steve Franzel

Global Research Project - Marketing and Extension

Steve Franzel has worked for the World Agroforestry Centre since 1991. His research has focused on improved marketing of agroforestry products, scaling up the benefits of agroforestry, and fodder shrubs for improving dairy farming systems. He has also spent many years investigating species prioritization in research, the adoption potential of agroforestry practices, and participatory research approaches. Steve has a PhD in agricultural economics from Michigan State University in the USA.
