EA Region enters into an Agreement with RADA
As at 29th October 2009, the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) through the East Africa Region entered into an agreement with Rwanda Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) under a UNDP/GEF grant in building the capacity of various organizations in Rwanda on natural resource management. Among the main aims of the project is to come up with a clear communication strategy for Sustainable Land management (SLM), design a new set of intervention techniques, which are turned into field training modules, for extension agents, develop a system of knowledge management and an interactive database for the pilot sites and conduct a cost benefit analysis of soil conservation in Rwanda based on the pilot sites and any other region in Rwanda.
