AHI Receives Grant From AUSAID and Italian Government

AHI received a grant from Australian AID (AUSAID) to strengthen local institutions in Uganda and Rwanda through the Landcare approach. This is one year grant expected to end in July 2010. The two participating districts are Ngoma in Rwanda and Masaka in Uganda.

AHI received a further grant from Italian government as part of the ongoing activities of the African Grassroots Innovations, Livelihoods and the Environment (AGILE) project. The funds are expected to jumpstart Landcare activities in Ethiopia along with some ongoing activities in Uganda.
