ICRAF Makes Field Trip to Ethiopia

ICRAF made a field visit to Ethiopia in trying to establish the potential of CAWT in Ethiopia. Ethiopia has a huge potential for developing CAWT since Faidherbia albida is widely accepted and used in farms and as fodder for the animals. A core team of scientists from various national partners has been formed to chart way forward for CAWT in Ethiopia. ICRAF will also be funding a study to determine the potential of CAWT, the main strategies and technologies currently being promoted, some of the major challenges, and recommendations on way forward to rapid scaling up of CAWT in Ethiopia.
