Nepal Agroforestry Foundation (NAF), Kathmandu Forestry College (KAFCOL), the Enhancing Livelihood and Food Security through Agroforestry and Community Forestry (EnLiFT) project funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) are organizing an international conference on “Promotion of Agroforestry for Rural Income Generation, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation” in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture Development (MoAD), Nepal; Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Nepal; Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Institute of Forestry (IOF), Tribhuvan University (TU); and Asia Network for Sustainable Agriculture and Bioresources (ANSAB).

The conference will provide a platform to multidisciplinary experts around the world to present their innovative ideas and experiences in the eld of agroforestry and other cross cutting issues. Moreover, the conference will discuss lessons learned and identify emerging issues on agroforestry promotion.
