6th Annual International ESP Conference 2013
First announcement and call for workshops, session ideas and abstracts
The emphasis of this sixth international ESP conference will be on the practical application of the 'ecosystem services' concept in planning, management and decision making illustrated with actual case studies. The program consists of a mix of plenary sessions, workshops (organized by the ESP working groups), open-topic sessions (proposed and organized by participants) and special sessions devoted to specific topics proposed by the collaborating organizations and sponsors. A mid-conference excursion will provide the opportunity to observe and discuss the application of ecosystem services in practice at selected field sites. A summer school is planned on 'practical tools for assessing ecosystem services' around the dates.
