In 1999, his interest in the development of sustainable farming systems saw him take leadership of the Philippines-Australia Landcare Project, a large international agricultural development project, funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). The current phase of this project, with co-funding from ACIAR and AusAID, brings together three Philippines-based and two Australian-based partner agencies. |
