Noel Vock is a Principal Extension Horticulturist and ACIAR Philippines-Australia Landcare Project leader with Agri-Science Queensland, based at Maroochy Research Station in Nambour, Queensland, Australia. He has 35 years of experience in leading and conducting extension projects in the plant pathology and horticulture disciplines. A major interest in information systems culminated in him co-jointly developing in 1992 the Agrilink information concept, a major new initiative in developing improved quality in farmer information products.

In 1999, his interest in the development of sustainable farming systems saw him take leadership of the Philippines-Australia Landcare Project, a large international agricultural development project, funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). The current phase of this project, with co-funding from ACIAR and AusAID, brings together three Philippines-based and two Australian-based partner agencies.
