Our Aims
- Building a supportive global network that draws together Landcare initiatives to learn from each other through information exchange, cross-visits and people exchanges, peer-to-peer learning, regular conferences and training workshops, and encourages national Landcare initiatives;
- Facilitating access to and extension of research and development and relevant science and technology innovations;
- Establishing and maintaining a lessons-learned database of Landcare successes;
- Brokering and mobilising financial resources to facilitate strategic investments in Landcare;
- Promoting guiding values associated with Landcare philosophies;
- Facilitating multi-level and multi-sectoral relationships within national Landcare projects and activities; and
- Assisting the development of Landcare in interested countries.
