‘Trees
of Change’ is a synthesis of our current directions and embodies our
vision and mission. It describes who we are, what we do, why and how
we do it, and where we do it. It is intended to project how the Centre
has evolved, where its priorities lie and expansively communicates our
research, development-support and education work.
We
have articulated our vision in the spirit of the Millennium
Development Goals to ensure stronger alignment with the aspirations of
national governments and our research and development partners. We
have also emphasized the need for cross-sector linkages in the areas
of gender, health and nutrition. We believe that a global Agroforestry
Transformation will create a multitude of practical options that serve
people and environmental sustainability.
