Spatial Analyst Leader of Spatial Analysis Unit. Dr Widayati has a PhD from University of Northumbria, UK Landscape analyses within the context of climate change mitigation, i.e. towards the mechanism of REDD+, including land-use and land-cover changes and the consequences for aboveground emission and opportunity costs; drivers of land-use changes; landscape dynamics of biomass/carbon-stock assessments in forest-agroforest-agriculture environments; participatory approaches for rural livelihood assessments; intervention design for low emission development at subnational level. Sustainability assessments and trade-offs between forest conservation and local livelihoods with the specific case of non-timber forest product harvesting; covering spatial analyses, forest-vegetation analyses, community-based and participatory research approaches, multivariate statistics. Spatial and quantitative analyses for Clean Development Mechanism site selection by integrating geospatial, population and socioeconomic data sets and land-use and land-cover change analyses for the benchmark site in Indonesia. |
