The CGIAR Climate Change Blog has a piece on Achim Steiner's opening remarks yesterday at the WCA2009 opening session.

Steiner, head of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), called on participants to put solutions on the table that “can turn the challenges facing millions of small-scale farmers into one big opportunity for human-kind.”
