Charlie Pye-SmithI spend much my time working as an in-house writer for the World Agroforestry Centre and the Centre for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). During recent years, I've also had several assignments with the UK Department for International Development (DFID), and I have been a regular contributor to the New Scientist, the Daily Telegraph, the Financial Times, the Independent and other publications. I also write about other matters - such as hunting, religion and travel - which have little or nothing to do with agroforestry or development.
 
 
 
The 2nd World Congress of Agroforestry was organized by the World Agroforestry Centre
