The World Agroforestry fosters learning opportunities by making its facilities and knowledge accessible to a broad range of audiences including young scholars, students, junior researchers, interns, mid-career scientists, and other interested trainees.
ICRAF widely cooperates and builds partnerships with various universities at national and international levels, well-known research and development centres, influential government and non-governmental and donor organizations.
Learning opportunities available at ICRAF include:
- Individual learning opportunities where each trainee is assigned a senior researcher or manager as a scientific/practice supervisor, e.g., Fellowship, Internship, Volunteerism, Young Professionals
- Group learning opportunities through participation in professional courses, seminars and workshops
- Self-learning opportunities through access to eLearning resources and publications.
