The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) joined forces in 2019, leveraging a combined 65 years’ experience in research on the role of forests and trees in solving critical global challenges.

Just before Mphomwa Trading Centre we saw a young man at a distant waving his hand while carrying a stick. As we approached him we saw that the stick had some things, and closer looks revealed on the stick were some small furry dead animals. Immediately I recognized what the young man had carried.
