  Researchers from across the planet have gathered to discuss ways forward for the critical biomes of the Tropical East Asia region in the lead up to the next UN biodiversity conference.  
Mushrooms ready and waiting. 'Shimeji' (Japanese: シメジ, 占地 or 湿地) is a group of edible mushrooms native to East Asia but also found in northern Europe. They are often served with butter and soy and are also used in hotpot recipes.
